Ms. Kelly

     Ms. Kelly is the founder and owner of Tiny Treasures. She opened the doors in July of 2003 and has been an active participant in the daily operations of the program ever since. She can be found onsite daily and is always available to parents and staff. Ms. Kelly has two children and they were a large part of the reason she chose to open her own early learning center. As a working parent, she understands the importance of a quality program where children can grow in a loving and safe environment. Her goal is to create a place where parents feel comfortable and secure and where children enjoy coming to learn, play, and make friends.

     Our program caters to the needs of each individual child. Each child is unique and brings a little something different to the group. Our role as teachers are to recognize these qualities and build upon them. Understanding individual differences is necessary in creating a diversified learning environment. Our curriculum places a focus on the individual learner. Our teachers work very hard at creating relevant and meaningful activities for the children to participate in. Teachers use many different strategies to help all children succeed as learners. Our dedicated teachers plan developmentally appropriate learning activities each week. Our program is aligned with Ohio's Early Learning Content Standards and Ohio's Infant Toddler Guidelines.

     We believe children learn best when they are given the freedom to explore their environment and participate in hands-on activities. This promotes play and social interactions with their peers. They learn to be thinkers, problem solvers, and they develop a strong sense of self and are proud of their achievements. Children are encouraged to work together, play cooperatively, and to fulfill their potential as learners.

     Progress Reports are provided at regular intervals and parent /teacher conferences are held at least twice per year.

Special Events & Enrichment Programs

     Tiny Treasures offers several special occasions throughout the year. Some of these include our Mother's Day Luncheon, Father's Day Pizza Party, Fall Festival, Summer Carnival, Winter Program, Open House, and Annual Summer Picnic. We also have special visits from our local police and fire departments, Captive Born Reptiles, Ronald McDonald, and many more! In addition, creative movement classes are offered twice per month.

     Tiny Treasures opened it's doors in July of 2003. We provide year round programs for children ages six weeks through kindergarten and a summer camp for school age children. We have experienced a lot of growth since that time, but one thing has remained constant - our commitment to the children and families that we serve. We are dedicated to providing a loving and safe environment for your child to grow in. Our program has been granted Two-Stars by Ohio's Step up To Quality program. We strive each day to provide our kids with the best education and care possible.
