The school year has begun and we are off to a fine start! The staff and I would like to thank you for your encouragement and enthusiasm as we begin this school year. We may encounter some bumps on this journey, but with your suggestions and patience, hopefully things will run smoothly and efficiently. Please contact me with any concerns. Our number one priority is the well being of the children and families of Maize Manor Preschool.

     Thank you for attending the Parent’s Night. Please check the calendar and bulletin board outside the Preschool office for upcoming events.

     The bookshelf located in the hallway contains books that your child is welcome to borrow. Please encourage them to pick out a book or two, take it home and enjoy, then bring it back to get more.

     Hopefully winter is many months away, but if there is inclement weather that closes Columbus schools, we are closed also. You can watch Channel 6 and Fox 28 for the preschool to be listed.

     Come to the Preschool Parent Committee meeting on September 21 at 7:00pm to hear what is in store for the 2011-2012 school year.

      Also mark your calendars for the annual field trip to Lynd’s Fruit Farm in October. Permission slips for this will be sent home the week of Sept. 20th.

     Complete and up-to-date forms for you child are extremely important and required by the State of Ohio. If you have any changes in address, phone number, doctor, etc. or have received a note from me about missing information, it is imperative to correct that information. The laws have been established in the best interest of the child.
