Early Childhood

     The Early Childhood Program is many-faceted, and families who attend only one campus or are just getting to know First Community Church may not know about all that is available. K-5

     The K-5 Ministry reflects the mission and vision of First Community Church. Children are given developmentally appropriate opportunities to develop their faith, increase their understanding of the Christian faith and build strong relationships within their church community. Lessons are prepared and carefully worded to provide children with building blocks for faith. As children move through our program, they come to gain an understanding of a loving God who will accompany them on their life journey. They hear Bible stories that teach about God's love for us, stories about Jesus, and stories that show us how to love others. We look forward to joining you in nurturing your child's faith journey.

Middle School

     Through small group and large group activities the goal of the Middle School Program is to facilitate the building of relationships among the students, the adult leaders, and Christ. We explore topics such as prayer, family issues, the acceptance of others, and the unique qualities we each possess.

     Together we learn how to demonstrate and understand the loving and accepting example of Jesus Christ. By learning more about who Jesus was we hope to be able to take the next step toward a more fufilling walk of faith.

     We focus on being open to many different and valuable perspectives, as well as working to become positive examples of what it means to be a Christian. We welcome anyone who would like to attend. We do not limit our activities to members only.

High School

     First Community Church has developed an exciting and varied high school youth program with the significant goal of "meeting each young person where they are in their faith, and then helping them to take the next step." Each of these steps contributes to the development of a faith that can be carried with each of us throughout life.
