ECLC offers summer care for your schoolage child!! Many summer activities are planned throughout the summer months and have previously included magicians, insect experts, reptile handlers, movies, cookouts, bounce houses, family portraits, and more!!

     Our summer usually kicks off with our Preschool Graduation for those of our children that are making the huge jump into Kindergarten. Parents are invited to attend the program, complete with performances by the children, commencement speeches from the staff, and loving words from the teachers who have watched your children grow and learn over the years.

     Your child is sure to never be bored with ECLC's continued learning curriculum and exciting fun-filled days throughout the summer. ECLC's teachers will keep these young minds moving and shaking until it's time to go back to school!!

     Edwards Creative Learning Center has been serving southeast Columbus since 1997. Owner Shirley Adkins recognized the need for a dependable daycare facility in the area and quickly put ECLC on the road to success!! After 12 years of taking care of children, ECLC is now one of the largest daycares in the area. Ten classrooms fill our facility, plus a gym, computer areas, HUGE outside playground, and full kitchen that provides our children with breakfast, lunch, and snacks!! All of our teachers are fully certified in CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, and Child Abuse according to Ohio regulations.

     All ECLC preschool teachers hold degrees in Early Childhood Education. Each teacher creates a weekly lesson plan using the Creative Curriculum system, created by Teaching Strategies, Inc. ECLC is aware of the fundamental lessons that help build a child's growth pattern, and we work with each child to ensure his/her success and readiness for the transition into kindergarten.

     ECLC provides all infants with Similac Advance formula. All children that are ready for table food are provided a daily nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack and milk. But don't worry - if your child follows a special or restrictive diet, we will be happy to work with you and your child to ensure that he/she gets the proper nutrition while in our care.
