Our Daycare Director is Marlene Otis.

     Marlene has proven herself well capable of handling the challenges of leading our Daycare and ensuring a safe, educational, and nurturing environment for the development of the children in our care. Her love for children and commitment to their healthy development shines in everything she does. Our parents and staff will attest to her excellent qualities.

     Marlene carries much experience and excellent qualifications. Besides her deep love for our little ones, Marlene has served in the Daycare environment in a number of capacities: a classroom teacher; child development teacher; and as an administrative assistant in two Daycare centers, and she was the Director of our Daycare for about 4 ½ years from 2005-2009. She has left a long trail of solid performance in every role she has worked.

     We have developed a method of creating lesson plans that allow the teachers freedom of creativity to meet the ever changing needs of a classroom environment. Lesson plans include; small manipulative and fine motor skills, music, arts and crafts, science, letter, number, shape and color recognition and phonics. In addition, our indoor and outdoor play facilities allow for gross motor play (structure and individual play) regardless of weather and playground conditions.

     Easton Childcare Center has been providing quality care at an affordable price for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years since 1985. Our program is designed to develop children intellectually, physically and socially while providing a warm and inviting Christian atmosphere where parents can feel confident their child's needs are being met.

     We at Easton Childcare Center believe that our staff is the backbone of our program. Several of our staff members have worked here for over 10 years, bringing a sense of stability and consistency to the program. Our staff receive on-going training in early childhood education including, child development, and classroom and behavior management. By developing and educating our employees we insure the growth, development, and success of each child.
