Business Development Manager, Carrier and Colocation (Southern CA)

You'll own a portfolio of accounts, build lasting client relationships, and bring in new business by connecting customers with the right mix of telecom, managed services, cloud, and voice solutions.</span></p> <p><span style="color: #000000;">This is a high-impact, client-facing role at the intersection of technology and business strategy — with real ownership, a collaborative team, style="color: #000000;"><span> </span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>Client Engagement & Business Development</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Assess clients' telecom, carrier, colocation, voice, data, managed services, and cloud requirements</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Position and sell Presidio and partner solutions that create measurable value</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Deliver compelling solution presentations and product demonstrations</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Build trusted advisor relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Identify and develop new opportunities within existing accounts and net-new prospects</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>Sales Execution</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Drive a disciplined sales strategy focused on matching clients to the right solutions</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Develop a deep understanding of customers' buying cycles and business priorities</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Consistently meet or exceed monthly revenue goals</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data using internal sales tools</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>Account Management</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Manage sales objectives including orders and billing to support accounting cycles</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Keep account information current and proactively resolve customer issues</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Prepare quotes and coordinate with inside sales support for accurate order processing</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Partner with engineering teams to scope and design tailored solutions</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="color: brand in every client interaction</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #000000;"> </span></p> <p><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>Required Skills and Professional Experience</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #000000;">3–5 years of demonstrated sales success, ideally in carrier network services, colocation or UCAAS</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Experience selling Cloud and/or Managed Services solutions</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Established relationships with national carriers and a track record building strategic client solutions</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Familiarity with solutions from Cisco, Avaya, Amazon, Microsoft, or major telecom carriers</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (military experience welcome)</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Recent mid-market experience with an active client network in a defined territory</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="color: #000000;"><strong>Preferred Skills and Professional Experience</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Strong active listening and communication skills — verbal, written, and presentation</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Critical thinking and sound judgment in complex, fast-moving sales situations</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Excellent time management and ability to juggle multiple accounts and priorities</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Persuasive and confident in front of senior stakeholders and C-suite buyers</span></li> <li><span style="color: #000000;">Collaborative mindset — you work well across departments and organizational
