Learn more at <a href="https://www.jnj.com/medtech" target="_blank">https://www.jnj.com/medtech</a></p><p></p><p>The MONARCH™ Platform was first introduced in 2018, creating a new category of care as the first endoluminal robotic-assisted bronchoscopy platform designed to help physicians access small, hard-to-reach lung nodules to enable earlier diagnosis of lung cancer. The Monarch Platform, Urology, will also create a new category of care as the first robotic-assisted urology platform designed for endoluminal and percutaneous access of organs across the urinary tract to perform various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.</p><p></p><p><b>Primary Responsibilities:</b></p><p>The Sr. Product Manager will be part of the Global Strategic Marketing (GSM) team for MONARCH and play a critical role by empowering teams across technical and commercial functions to bring game-changing solutions to customers and patients worldwide. With a focus on downstream product management supporting Bronchoscopy and/or Urology indications, you will drive the development, launch, and sustaining of MONARCH products from launch to end-of-life. Working with cross-functional stakeholders in multiple geographies, and in collaboration with partners in Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Education, HEMA, Clinical, and Medical, you will ensure that MONARCH products meet the needs of customers while providing strategic input on the product roadmap and future portfolio development.</p><p>The ideal candidate for this role must have excellent communication, organization, and technical capabilities. A high attention to detail and the ability to clearly communicate both the big-picture and execution-level details to key stakeholders, while serving as a central point-of-contact for downstream product development, launch, and sustaining workstreams will be key. Experience in product and project management methodologies, product development stage gates, commercial launches, and/or sustaining engineering is a plus. This role will report to the Head of Global Strategic Marketing for MONARCH or a Senior Product Management Lead. </p><p></p><p><b>Product Launch and Sustaining:</b></p><ul><li><p>Lead global product launch and sustaining efforts cross-functionally with technical and commercial stakeholders for next generation MONARCH software, hardware, and instruments.</p></li><li><p>Ensure execution of the product launch process, including limited market release planning, primarily in the US but also global launches when needed. Drive product claims development, pricing, market introduction timing, phase in/phase out, training, and procedure support. </p></li><li><p>Propose product feature updates and next-generation capabilities aligned with customer needs and business objectives.</p></li><li><p>Serve as the single point of contact and liaison to develop, communicate, escalate, and execute key launch deliverables.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Downstream Product Management:</b></p><ul><li><p>Proactively identify product/field risks and lead resolution handling by developing solutions and execution plans.</p></li><li><p>Measure product performance and customer satisfaction by monitoring product adoption and conducting VOC research. </p></li><li><p>Monitor and prioritize product quality improvements on the product roadmap. Work with cross-functional teams to resolve product issues, critical customer issues, and field actions/escalations.</p></li><li><p>Manage downstream partnerships with key development partners, including integration rollout, while coordinating key technical workstreams for on-going product refinements and roadmap development.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Business Analysis and Market Landscape:</b></p><ul><li><p>Define appropriate product launch and performance metrics to drive decisions on rollout, product lifecycle, demand/supply forecast, and global expansion.</p></li><li><p>Identify opportunities for product improvements by analyzing system level data, product return data, and product complaint data.</p></li><li><p>Serve as conduit between the field and product management team by providing real-time insights from customers and field-based teams.</p></li><li><p>Understand competitive, emerging, and complimentary technologies, and their impact on the MONARCH product portfolio, including go-to-market strategy.</p></li><li><p>Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC), Market Research, and Competitive Market Assessments in support of new product development decisions.</p></li></ul><p> </p><p><b>Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>B.A./B.S. in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field required. MBA preferred</p></li><li><p>A minimum of 3 years experience in Product Management or Clinical Engineering roles, or 5-7 years of progressive experience across MedTech product management, marketing, engineering, sales, or education.</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience presenting to customers and internal leadership teams. </p></li><li><p>Proven ability to analyze customer needs, VOC, and market data, and then synthesize into clear and compelling product strategies and narratives.</p></li><li><p>Advanced problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.</p></li><li><p>Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously. Able to simplify complexity and effectively prioritize work.</p></li><li><p>A self-starter who prides themself as being the product expert and voice for the customer/field.
