Milton Hershey School (MHS) is seeking a Compensation Director. The Compensation Director is responsible for:
-Conducting strategic analysis regarding current and future compensation practices to ensure appropriate stewardship of MHS resources.
-Providing insightful analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
-Implementing improvements and innovations with regards to compensation, as well as performance management.
-Overseeing day to day administration of MHSís compensation processes and systems.
-Effectively collaborating within the HR department and across the organization.
-Analyzing processes and systems, implementing enhancements for continuous improvement as appropriate.
Qualifications & Requirements
-Bachelorís degree in Business, Finance or a Compensation affiliated field. Masterís degree a plus.
-Certified Compensation Professional designation preferred.
-At least 8 years of experience leading compensation for an organization of similar size and scope as MHS.
-Exceptional computer skills particularly in Excel and PeopleSoft.
-Experience applying compensation practices within a unionized environment is a plus.
-Exceptional interpersonal skills including consultative skills, collaboration skills and influencing skills.
-Management experience preferred.
-Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS staff are considered to be role models for MHS students.
-Must be willing to actively engage with MHS students.
